10 weeks strong

Lil Pip, here, is growing, as the kids are noticing on my poking-out belly already, and things are good! This week, I did need to start progesterone supplements, though, which make for an extremely tired mama for a good chunk of time after each dose, but I know it'll be short-lived; I needed something similar with both Paul and Jack, and with both of those, I could stop come the second trimester; here's hoping! Otherwise I'm just hungry 😉 which is mostly awesome. Except if I let it go just a tad too far and get hangry. But who am I kidding - that happens to me not pregnant. Here's our first glimpse at the wee one back at 8 weeks, so s/he's already different now! Ada has very much enjoyed seeing the weekly growing updates with fruit-size references. She's loving this!

Soon to be 6!

Dylan and I learned at the end of January of a 4th little one joining our family soon! We told Paul, Ada, and Jack right away, and they're very excited. Paul smiled an honest joyful smile, and Ada put her Baby B (doll) under her shirt ... and has been going to sleep that way more often than not. Jack's along for the ride. Paul and Ada had much input for this little one's nickname, and, in fact, they were pushing for Sugarplum first, before settling on Sugarbaby - the concession is that we give the baby the actual name of Sugarplum come birth. Hm. Pip came about because it means seed, of course, and we happened to finish off an avocado that evening, leaving the pip to play with. Bam: Sugarbaby Pip. We've already had our first appointment, and, while I'd rather not start the incessant appointments and finding of friends to watch Ada and Jack quite so soon, I've needed supplemental progesterone for 2 of my 3 pregnancies so far; so we thought it prudent to get th...
